CONSTITUTION AND RULES Revised 12/06/2008
1.The name of the club shall be: PWLL ATHLETIC Association Football Club
2.Club colours shall be Maroon and Sky Blue.
3.The Playing rules shall be those of the Football Association of Wales.
4.A player wishing to join the club must be prepared to accept all the rules & regulations of the club.
5.The club shall be managed by a committee whose number shall be decided and whose members shall be elected at the AGM. The committee is empowered to co-opt additional members, appoint all sub committee necessary for the management of the club and delete any committee member for any reason detrimental for the proper management thereof.
6.The committee shall meet at least once every month at least 5 (five) members present to form a quorum and in the case of equality on votes; the chairman shall have the casting vote.
7.All registered players in full time employment to pay £17 per month. Unemployed players & players in full time education to pay £10 per month. Non-playing members to pay £7 per month. Subs will include all training fees.
8.Any senior playing member of the club who falls into 1 month’s arrears of subscriptions may not be eligible for senior team selection.
9.Each playing member shall pay an annual registration fee.
10.The club TOTE scheme, winnings will start at £25 and another £25 added weekly.
11.The date and venue of the AGM shall be decided by the committee.
12.Team Captains & any fully paid up member may request a meeting with the club committee to discuss problems arising upon receipt of a written request to the secretary not less than 7 (seven) clear days prior to the proposed meeting.
13.The treasurer shall keep proper books of accounts of the receipts and expenditure of the club and shall prepare a monthly statement for the committee as well as the annual statement for the AGM.
14.All fines incurred by any player shall be paid by the individual players. Any player not having paid his fine will not be allowed a written transfer to another club on request until all fines are paid up in full.
15.The committee shall have the right to suspend or reprimand any player for club misconduct.
16.A rules revision meeting shall be held prior to the AGM.
17.Any player who refuses to be substitute will disqualify himself from playing on that day for any of the Pwll Athletic senior teams. The committee would meet immediately to discuss any further punishment. If the player has a valid reason he would be permitted to attend the meeting.
18.Any registered player who plays for another club will not be covered by club insurance.
19.Every player who plays in a friendly match will pay a proportionate amount to cover the expenses incurred.
20.Any outstanding debts carried over to the start of the next season must be cleared otherwise the player will be ineligible to play for the club.
21.Any player wishing to join the club is not entitled to vote or raise amendments or proposals at the AGM.
